So, a quick update in the life of the Lukinator.
I just recently got my learner licence. YA HUH! (thought that would probably come across as more masculine then 'YAY!') Anyways, I went to the issuer with my sister, and registered for my licence. I paid $97 so that I wouldn't have to renew it for five years. My parents think I'm nuts for buying it for that long; their reasoning being that I won't be a learner for that long. Well, I have my reasons, and I am NOT crazy!
Anyways...
I am now working on four websites. Number one is the epicness that is currently surrounding you (Yes, yes, hold the applause ;)). Numero Duo is my local Air Cadet Squadron's website: 34rcac.ca. Number three is my mom's website for selling independent Canadian Author's books. You can check it out at selfpublishedcanadians.ca. Unfortunately, I am not allowed to work on it until I finish at least half of this semester's work. Sooo, don't bother checking it again until June, or if you are interested in it, you can wait for me to tell you when I will resume work on it. The fourth website is a favor for my Dad's friend. Its for a conference that he has put together. You can check it out at: scopeconference.weebly.com.
With other news, I recently rediscovered that I own a Dremel. Coool!!!! I can't wait to start working on projects with it! On a side note, completely unrelated to wordworking (hehehehe...) does anyone at all know where I can get a small AM/FM radio circuit board? I need one with dials, not a portable mp3 type of thing. A Curtis International RS-83 is EXACTLY what I am looking for.
As a final message, let me warn you: STAY FARRRRR AWAY from the claw machines. I mean, I knew they were a scam and all, my Dad having worked as a manager at a restaurant that had one. He warned me that they are rigged, he had even been the one to set the machine at the place he worked. But did that stop me? Noooooooo! I had to waste a couple bucks on a machine. There was this perfect spherical stuffed toy, you see, and it was on the top of the heap, just begging to be grabbed. To top it off, it was PacMan! I just had to have it. Anyways, I perfectly positioned the claw, then pressed the button. It descended, encompassed the toy, and lifted. Oh, wait, it forgot to close the claw... X<{
Let that be a lesson... Anyways (do I say that too much? Nah... Anyways, :P) talk your ear off sometime in the foreseeable future.
*Translation* Talk to you later.
